About Andy Venables and Daniel Bennett

We are Andy and Dan and we’re farmers, although these days rather than growing crops and animals, we grow rural businesses. Andy is still very much involved with the family dairy farm and Dan’s background is arable with a penchant for tractors.

Following a business degree Andy found himself Commercial Director of a digital marketing agency and was instrumental in building that business from 4 to 32 employees. Dan built a design agency and was managing director of a printing company before returning to a hands-on role in farming.

Andy setup Hillsgreen to combine his love of farming and rural business with his successful career in marketing. Hillsgreen is a hands-on marketing partner for ambitious rural businesses, We use a range of tools that not everyone understands, but we do, and we ruthlessly analyse data to ensure your investment in marketing results in finding you customers and winning actual sales.
